A Tremendous Success!
September 23, 2010
On September 22-23, 2010, was held the Inaugural Forum on Court Technology organized by the Canadian Centre for Court Technology. The conference took place at The Brookstreet Hotel, located in the outskirt of Ottawa; the ideal setting to disconnect from daily routine and absorb the technological feel of the event.

The Honourable Madam Justice Louise Charron of the Supreme Court of Canada opened by discussing the technological revolution transforming Canada’s justice system and its basic principles. Allan Seckel, Deputy Minister to the Premier of British Columbia, synthesized the methods and difficulties of integrating technology in government, on a national scale. And what about the mesmerizing presentation from Professor Richard Susskind, author of the book The End of Lawyers?. His insights allowed the audience to get a glimpse of a world where technology does not limit itself to the automation of present procedures, but enable us to achieve the impossible.
