Kim’s career, in private and community enterprise, has given him the opportunity to work throughout the province of Alberta and across the country.
Mr. Pasula has a long history in independent business: in relationships with Imperial Oil, Sherritt Gordon Mines and United Auto Parts; as the founder of a risk capital firm; and, in running his own organization development, communications and investment companies. He has been a leader and innovator in entrepreneurship and development in a variety of settings and institutions including University of Lethbridge, Red Deer College, Centre for Business Development and Lethbridge College. For the last 10 years he has been active applying his lessons learned to the operation and development of a number of organizations in the not for profit and charitable sector.
Kim has served on the councils and boards of: National Entrepreneurship and Development Institute; Habitat for Humanity; Red Deer College Management Development Centre; Canadian Cancer Society; Olds College Business Development Society; Canada-Alberta Partnership on Business and Community Development; Children’s Council & Community Futures Loan Circle Society. Mr. Pasula is: Past President, Life Long Learning Council; Past President, Public Legal Education Association of Canada; Secretary, Central Alberta Legal Clinic Foundation; Past-Chair, École Camille Council; Vice-Chair, Alberta Community Economic Development Co-operative; and, Founding Board Member, Canadian Centre for Court Technology. Mr. Pasula was also recently appointed to the board of the Red Deer & District Community Foundation where he currently serves as Vice-Chair.
