Content monitoring is one of the areas of concern that was raised in the Canadian Judicial Council report Blueprint for the Security of Judicial Information (3rd ed, 2009). Usage tracking is a form of content monitoring, and it is a standard feature of IT resources and a practice of vendors of IT products.
